UFO buster - Quilt

There are 5 quilt tops waiting to be basting and quilting. But basting and quilting are just very difficult for me. Yes I love cutting and piercing and also binding but the processes between always make me procrastinate. Also I feel a little uncomfortable to quilt using my home sewing machine as the harp is not wide enough for me to move the quilt freely while quilting. This make my quilting harsh. I've searched in the internet but most of the quilters seem having no problems with their small machines. I think I need to practise more. And for sure this 5 quilt tops will be my sparing partners.

Below is my first attempt to make a quilt. I attended a short course but cannot finished the class as I was busy with my work. And this was 6 or 7 years ago. I don't know why I always make excuses to finish this quilt but hopefully it will be finished by this month.

I made this quilt top using the tutorial by Missouri Quilt Co. I love so much their tutorials at Youtube and never miss a single video since.

This is the balance fabrics from the above quilt top and I just rearranged the HST.

This is the latest quilt top. I made this from a tutorial from Handmade magazine No.47. I always want to make tumbler design and hoping to buy AccuQuilt Go someday but using this tutorial you don't have to purchase any special ruler.

I thought this is a lovely and brilliant idea as I've never seen anything alike before. Hope I can make a simple tutorial someday for my own reference later.

I forgot to take picture the other quilt top. It sit still on my piano and I intend to make it as my piano cover so no need basting or quilting. I think I will use Kate's BIG Binding Quilt-video tutorial.

So Happy Tuesday everyone!!
